The tour proceeds to Queen Elizabeth national park for game viewing experience on a game-drive and then to Bwindi impenetrable national park for gorilla trekking encounter.

Detailed 8 Days Uganda Flying Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival for 8 Days Uganda Flying Safari
You will be welcomed for 8 Days Uganda Flying Safari by a professional English speaking guide on arrival at Entebbe airport and you will be driven to the hotel in Entebbe for check in.

Day 2: Transfer to Jinja via Mabira forest
After having breakfast at the hotel in Entebbe, you will have a short briefing with your guide and continue the journey to Jinja in eastern Uganda. You will drive through Mabira forest where you will enjoy a zip lining experience through the forest.
Your guide will drive you to the hotel in Jinja for lunch and you will later engage in a boat ride at the source of the Nile as you watch the sunset. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Jinja.

Day 3: White Water Rafting and drive to Kampala
Your breakfast will be served early at the hotel in Jinja ahead of the white water rafting experience on the Nile which will start with a briefing and after being given the safety gear, you will begin the adventure on the Nile.
After rafting, you will have lunch by the Nile and later return to Kampala where you will check in at the hotel and prepare for your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Fly to Queen Elizabeth national park
Your breakfast will be served early at the hotel in Kampala and you will transfer to Entebbe international airport for your flight to Queen Elizabeth national park. You will be picked up from the airstrip on arrival and driven to the lodge.
After lunch, you will engage in a game drive around Queen Elizabeth national park in search of different wildlife species including lions, elephants, buffalos, impalas, hippos and many others.

Day 5: Game drive and Kazinga boat Cruise
You will wake up for early breakfast ahead of a morning game drive around Queen Elizabeth national park to look out for African elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, elands, impala, lions, leopards, among others.
After the morning game drive, you will have lunch and also take part in a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel where you will get close to schools of hippos, see Nile crocodiles, buffalos and elephants by the shores and different species of birds. You will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight after the boat ride.

Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi national park via Ishasha
Breakfast will be served at the lodge in Queen Elizabeth national park ahead of the drive to Bwindi national park through the Ishasha sector known for tree climbing lions in Uganda. You will encounter other wildlife species around the national park and proceed to Bwindi for check in at the lodge and dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi national park
After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will go to the briefing point at the Bwindi park headquarters with your packed lunches. Your assigned ranger guides will go with you embark on the gorilla trek in Bwindi forest.
You will follow different trails during the gorilla trek depending on the location of the gorillas and when you find them, you will have 1 hour with the mountain gorillas and return to the briefing point where you will meet your guide and return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay or you will engage in a cultural tour with the locals to get to know more about their way of life and culture after the gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi national park.

Day 8: Flight to Entebbe
Your breakfast will be served early at the lodge in Bwindi national park and your guide will drive you to the airstrip for your flight to Entebbe.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
All visitors to Uganda must have a valid passport with at least 4 consecutive blanks pages. Any applicable visa and/or relevant documentation are the responsibility of the traveler. 220 Volts/AC50Hz. Sockets are UK style, 3 pin square plugs. Power is from the UMEME in the city/major towns and generator with inverter back up in the Safari Lodges and Camps.
CURRENCY:
Foreign currency must be changed at the Bank, Bureau de Change, and Hotel/Safari lodge/Camp/Resort. Major Credit Cards, Master card, Visa, American Express, are usually accepted throughout the country. Where credit cards are accepted, the payment will normally be recorded in US$ regardless of the card’s default currency.
CLOTHING:
Dress is mainly informal and should be comfortable as well as practical. Something warm should be brought along for early morning and evenings. Safari clothes are available from hotels/lodges/camps.
BAGGAGE:
Where possible, travel light. Baggage space on safari is limited to medium suitcase or soft bag per person plus reasonable amount of hand luggage. There is 15 Kilogram per person limit on all flights to the wildlife sanctuaries. Excess luggage must be stored in your arrival hotel.
WATER:
You will find many different of opinion of what is safe and what is not. We recommend for peace of mind, to drink local Bottled Mineral water. It is important to drink plenty of water especially during the hotter months. We would recommend that guests drink at least 2 to 3 liters of water per day to limit the effects of dehydration.
HEALTH;
East Africa is a safe and secure destination; however, it is a good idea to take a few precautions. Kindly consult your GP or local doctor at least 6 weeks before you travel, with regards:
Malaria prophylactics. East Africa is a known malaria area and preventive measures are essential. You are advised to take one of the recommended anti-malarial drugs. Be sure to wear long sleeved shorts and trousers after sunset and spray the exposed parts of your body with a mosquito repellent spray
Remember to protect yourself from direct sun rays with sunscreen cream or safari hat.

As a guideline and dependent on how happy you are, we would suggest the following:

Please be careful when photographing public buildings, airports, bridges, the national flag and people in uniform. Ensure that you have sought permission before photographing local people and their villages. If in doubt, please check with your guide.
