Gorilla naming ceremony in Rwanda (Kwita Izina)

Every year Rwanda conducts a gorilla naming ceremony, locally known as “Kwita Izina” in Volcanoes national park. During the ceremony, infant gorillas born within the previous year are given petty names. The ceremony started in 2005 and each year, several international guests of high profile are invited to take park in the ceremony.
