Detailed itinerary of the 4 Days Uganda Gorilla Tour
Day 1: Pick up and drive to Queen Elizabeth national park
You will be picked up from Entebbe or Kampala and your guide will welcome you for the safari in Uganda. After a short briefing, you will start the journey to Queen Elizabeth national park for about 6 hours and have your lunch enroute.
You will also engage in an evening game drive in Queen Elizabeth national park and search for different wildlife species around the savannah plains including elephants, buffalos, hippos, lions, antelopes among others. After the evening game drive, your guide will drive you to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Drive to Bwindi national park
After an early breakfast, you will engage in a morning game drive through the ishasha sector and search for different wildlife species including the tree climbing lions, elephants and many others. Your guide will drive you to the lodge in Bwindi national park after the game drive and you will prepare to have your dinner and spend the night in Bwindi.
Day 3: Gorilla trekking
You will have breakfast at the lodge ahead of the gorilla trekking in Bwindi national park which will start with a briefing at the park headquarters. You will spend your day in Bwindi forest searching for the gorillas and other primates with your assigned groups of visitors and park rangers.
After finding the gorillas of Bwindi, you will have 1 hour with them to enjoy taking photos and videos and after the gorilla trekking experience, you will have an optional cultural tour to interact with the locals and later return to the lodge for your dinner and to spend the night.
Day 4: Drive to Entebbe for departure
After having breakfast at the lodge, you will start the journey from Bwindi national park to Entebbe with a stopover for lunch and also a visit to the equator where you will buy souvenirs, visit the local craft shops and to watch the water experiment at the equator and also for photography.
You will continue to Entebbe airport or your hotel in Entebbe where your guide will drop you off which will bring the tour to an end.
