3 Days Uganda Gorilla Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and drive to Bwindi national park
You will start the safari with pick up from the hotel in Entebbe and your guide will welcome you for the safari. After a short briefing, you will embark on the journey to Bwindi national park with a stop in Mbarara.
You will also have a stopover for lunch and later proceed with the drive to Bwindi while enjoying the beautiful scenery. You will have dinner and spend overnight at the lodge in Bwindi.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking and Batwa cultural tour
After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will go to the Bwindi park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking by the park officials. You will be divided into groups of 8 and allocated rangers before going into the Bwindi forest to begin the search for the gorillas.
You will spend 1 hour with the gorillas on finding them in Bwindi forest and enjoy photography and recording videos of the gorillas. After the gorilla trek in Bwindi, you will return to the park headquarters and also have an optional community tour with the Batwa to get to know more about their culture and way of life, enjoy traditional dances and later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Drive to Entebbe
You will have breakfast at the lodge in Bwindi national park ahead of your drive back to Entebbe. You will have stop at the equator to visit the local craft shops, enjoy taking photos at the equator and after this you will have lunch and your guide will drive you to Entebbe where you will be dropped off at the airport or hotel which will bring the tour to an end.
