Detailed itinerary of the 4 Days Tarangire & Serengeti Safari
Day 1: pick up and Transfer to Tarangire national park
After pick up from Arusha by your guide, you will start the 3 hour journey to Tarangire national park which is home to various wildlife and bird species and baobab trees which are scattered across the destination.
You will engage in game drives in Tarangire national park and spot the large herds of elephants as well as cheetahs, lions, gazelles, impalas, zebras, waterbucks among others in the savannah plains. You will also enjoy watching the sunset in thewilderness of the national park and you will be driven back to the lodge for your dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Transfer to Serengeti National park
Your breakfast will be served at the lodge in Tarangire national park ahead of your journey to Serengeti national park which is one of the most visited national parks in the northern part of Tanzania.
You will be driven though the Ngorongoro conservation area and proceed to Serengeti national park where you will engage in a short game drive and spot wildlife species around the endless savannah plains such as the big five which includes elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos and buffalos. You will proceed to your lodge in Serengeti national park where you will have dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Full day in Serengeti National Park
You will have an early breakfast at the lodge in Serengeti national park ahead of the full day game drives as you explore the endless savannah plains during morning and afternoon game drives.
During the morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti national park, you will search for wildlife species such as elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, hyenas, zebras, wildebeests, impala, waterbucks, hippos, cheetahs, elands, kudus, leopards, gazelles among others. You will have lunch after the morning game drive and engage in the afternoon wildlife viewing experience and later return to the lodge for your dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: drive back to Arusha
After an early breakfast at the lodge in Serengeti national park, you will start the8 hour drive to Arusha and you will be dropped off at Kilimanjaro international airport which will bring the Tanzania Safari to an end.
