The 2 days Nyungwe safari heads to Nyungwe national park in south Rwanda for an amazing chimpanzee tracking experience. The tour also includes enjoying a relaxing canopy walk which offers a thrilling view of the beautiful surrounding of the park.

Day 1: Pick up and drive to Nyungwe forest for Canopy walk
You will be welcomed by your guide who will pick you up from Kigali and after a short briefing; you will be driven to Nyungwe national park which takes about 6 hours. You will have a stop for lunch enroute. You will also engage in a canopy walk experience on this day and enjoy a guided walk along a suspended bridge through the Nyungwe forest.
During the canopy walk, you will enjoy views of the rainforest and also see other primates around the national park like black and white colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys among others. After the canopy walk, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking and return to Kigali
After having breakfast early at the lodge in Nyungwe forest national park, you will proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing and with your assigned ranger guides; you will start the chimpanzee trekking experience through the Nyungwe forest.
During the chimpanzee trek, you will follow different trails with your guide and see the chimpanzees among the trees as well as other primates and various bird species found in Nyungwe national park. You will spend 1 hour with the chimpanzees and enjoy precious moments with them and after the experience, your guide will drive you to Kigali with a stop for lunch and you will be dropped off at the airport in Kigali which will bring the tour to an end.
