Detailed itinerary of the 7 Days Tanzania-Kenya Safari
Day 1: Pick up
Your guide will pick you up from Kilimanjaro international airport on arrival in Tanzania and welcome you for the safari. You will have a short briefing and you will be driven to the hotel in Arusha for check in.
Day 2: Drive to Serengeti national park
After having breakfast at the hotel in Arusha, your guide will drive you to Serengeti national park for a chance to experience one of the best wildlife spectacles in the world which is the wildebeest migration.
You will check in at the lodge in Serengeti and prepare for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Game drives in Serengeti
Your day will start with an early breakfast before heading into the savanna plains of Serengeti national park to find the wildebeest herds. You will take part in a morning and afternoon game drive in the national park and also search for wildlife species such as the big five (elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos and buffalos).
After the game drives in Serengeti national park, you will be driven to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Drive to Masai Mara
After an early breakfast at the lodge in Serengeti national park, your guide will drive you to Masai Mara reserve in Kenya where you will enjoy more wildlife viewing experiences in Kenya and have dinner and overnight stay at the lodge in Mara.
Day 5: Game drives in Masai Mara
Your breakfast will be served at the lodge and you will take part in a morning and afternoon game drive in Masai Mara reserve in search of wildlife species like lions, cheetahs, leopards, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, hyenas, giraffes, waterbucks, topi, rhinos, buffalos and many others.
After exploring the wilderness of Masai Mara, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Drive to Lake Nakuru national park
You will be driven from Masai Mara reserve to Lake Nakuru national park after an early breakfast and your guide will take you on a wildlife safari around the national park in search of the famous rhinos which are a key attraction at the destination.
You will also see the beautiful pink flamingos along the lake shores in Lake Nakuru national park during the lookout for wildlife such as giraffes, buffalos, elephants and many others and later you will be driven to the lodge for dinner and to spend the night.
Day 7: Drive to Nairobi
After breakfast at the lodge in Lake Nakuru national park, you will start the journey to Nairobi where your guide will drop you off at the Jomo Kenyatta international airport which will bring the tour to an end.
