Day1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be transferred to your Hotel in Arusha for overnight.

Day 2: Flight to Seronera Airstrip in Serengeti and Afternoon Game Drive
After a very early breakfast at the lodge, you will be transferred to Arusha Airport to board your flight to Seronera Airstrip in the heart of Serengeti National Park. On arrival at the Airstrip, you will meet your driver/guide who will transfer you to the lodge with an en-route game drive. You will arrive at the lodge in time for check-in, lunch and later an afternoon Game Drive in the Serengeti Plains where you look forward to witnessing large prides of lions, cheetah, leopard, elephant, giraffe, buffalo and antelope as well as various species of birdlife and indigenous trees. The action-packed game drive will end late in the evening as you head towards your choice of accommodation, where a freshly prepared dinner awaits you.

Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti Plain
Today you will have a full day game drive in Central Serengeti with chances to see predators chasing their pray and enjoy their kill. Serengeti is undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequalled for its natural beauty and scientific value. You will have game drive in the endless plains of the Serengeti with a chance to see the great herds of
wildebeest, zebras and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade.

Day 4: Optional Balloon Safari and Full Day Serengeti Game drive.
Serengeti Balloon Safari is probably the most beautiful balloon flight in Africa and the ultimate Safari Experience which makes you enjoy the most beautiful migration of wildebeests through the endless plain of Serengeti. At 5:00 am, (Optional) you will be collected from your lodge and transferred to the launch site near Masai Kopjes. Here you will meet your pilot, receive a briefing and watch the inflation of your balloon. At dawn you take off, rising as the sun rises and float in whichever direction the winds of the morning take us. Your pilot can precisely control the altitude of your balloon: sometimes flying at treetop height, sometimes lower, offering a unique perspective and great photographic opportunities of the wildlife below. (Those of you not going for balloon safari will be with driver to catch up with those on balloon safari). After breakfast, you are taken to the rendezvous point to meet with your driver guide and continue with your full day game drives. Return to the lodge
for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive
Today after breakfast, you will transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you will later explore Ngorongoro crater with a ranger. This area is compared to Garden of Eden on earth. The big numbers of wildlife can be spotted in a day including all big five, the elephant, black rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetahs, and lots of hyenas, hippos, zebra and wildebeest being the most abundant. You will take a break for lunch. in the afternoon, you will continue game viewing in the south corner of the park where you visit Lake Magadi where you can see flamingos, hippos and other water birds. After the game drive you will transfer back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Flight to Entebbe International Airport
Depending on the schedule of your flight, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport arriving in time for check-in and flight to Entebbe. On arrival you will meet and greet with a representative of Engabi Tours and Travel who will welcome you to Uganda and transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe.

Day 7: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park and Walking Safari
After Breakfast, you will transfer to Lake Mburo National Park arriving in time for a walking safari in the park. This activity is suitable for those who would like to stretch their legs and view wildlife on foot. You will get an opportunity to see what you could have seen on any game drive in Tanzania except that this time around you will do it on foot.

Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park
After breakfast you will be transferred to Bwindi forest National park arriving in time for check in at your Lodge. Renowned as home to half of world’s mountains gorillas, Bwindi is famous gorilla tracking destination. derived from the Rukiga word, “Bwindi” means a dark place, Bwindi rainforest has remained untouched since the last ice age 250, 000 million years
ago.

Day 9: Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Community Experience
After breakfast at your Lodge, you will be transferred to the gorilla trekking starting point. Here you will be briefed about the gorilla trekking rules while your guide takes care of the practicalities. After briefing you set off into the forest with a specialized guide who leads you to the point where the gorillas are. For one unforgettable hour you are in the area of the mountain Gorillas seeing them in their daily life, with a chance to spot some forest interior birds. After trekking the gorillas, you will have your packed lunch and you will head back to the starting point where your driver will pick you and take you back to the lodge for refreshing. Later in the evening you will visit the Batwa community for a cultural experience Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

The best time to enjoy this 10 day luxury gorillas and Serengeti safari itinerary is during the dry months from June to October and again from December to February. These periods offer clear skies, stable road conditions and excellent wildlife viewing in both Tanzania and Uganda. The Serengeti is especially rewarding during the mid year months when the plains are open and game drives are smooth, while gorilla trekking in Bwindi is far more comfortable when the forest trails are firm and less slippery. Even Lake Mburo and Ngorongoro are at their most scenic in the dry season since animals gather around the remaining water sources, which creates reliable sightings. Although the itinerary can be done year round, choosing the dry months increases comfort and delivers the best photography, the best movement conditions and the most consistent game viewing throughout the entire journey.
How To Get There:
Your trip begins with an international arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, which serves as the main gateway into northern Tanzania. From Arusha, a short domestic flight carries you directly to Seronera Airstrip in Central Serengeti, placing you right in the heart of the park without long drives.
Travel between Serengeti and Ngorongoro is done by road, allowing you to enjoy the changing landscapes as you descend from the plains into the crater highlands. After exploring Ngorongoro, you connect back to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your scheduled flight to Entebbe in Uganda.
Once in Uganda, the journey continues by comfortable 4×4 through some of the country’s most beautiful regions. The drive from Entebbe to Lake Mburo is smooth and gives you a gradual introduction to the savanna. From Lake Mburo to Bwindi, the route cuts through rolling hills and terraced countryside until you reach the edges of the ancient rainforest. Your final transfer from Bwindi to Kigali International Airport offers striking views of the Virunga massif before crossing the border and ending the safari journey.
