Best Time To Travel:

Animals gather around water sources, vegetation is thinner, and the chances of spotting the Big 5, chimpanzees, and mountain gorillas are excellent. It’s also when the Great Migration Mara River crossing happens in Northern Serengeti (July to early October), offering a front-row seat to one of nature’s most dramatic spectacles. Plus, Zanzibar’s beaches are sunny and perfect for relaxation after the safari adventure.

How To Get There:

Your journey begins with an international flight into Entebbe International Airport (Uganda). From Entebbe, a short 1-hour domestic flight or a 7–8 hour scenic drive will take you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for gorilla trekking.

After Uganda, you’ll fly about 1.5 hours from Entebbe to Kilimanjaro International Airport (Tanzania). From Kilimanjaro, a short drive brings you to Arusha (the safari gateway ) before heading to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro by a combination of scenic drives and short bush flights (45 minutes to 1 hour).

Finally, to reach Zanzibar, you’ll take a direct 1-hour flight from either the Serengeti or Arusha. Once in Zanzibar, transfers to your beach resort typically take about 30–60 minutes depending on the location.
